About Us

Founded in 1986 we are part of a Lions International global organisation, formed in 1917. Globally we have 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries. We are a non-political organisation and welcome all newcomers irrespective of race, physical ability, religion or sexual orientation. For more information please see: http://www.lionsclubs.org 

We work with a local agencies and charities to help as many people as possible in our community. Our fundraising profits are mostly distributed locally.

It is not all work as we like to play as well. We have a varied social programme including evening social events, quizzes, tours, dinners, etc
